ABOUT

Costumer designer for film, television, and advertising campaigns.

Personal Stylist to celebrities, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

And more than anything, someone truly inspired by fashion.

Sharon earned her degree in Fashion Merchandising having taken up studies at George Washington University, The University of Massachusetts, and The London College of Fashion.  Her early career as a Buyer in the hectic world of New York City’s Garment District gave her a taste of not only the business of fashion, but planted the creative seed to segue into design.  Sharon continued her post-graduate studies at The Fashion Institute of Technology while launching her new career in the film industry’s world of Costume Design.

Sharon gleaned valuable experience by working with award winning Costume Designers such as Judianna Makovsky, John Dunn, and Anna Sheppard. This led to her designing the Wong Kar-wai written and directed film, My Blueberry Nights and designing the Midtown High School Marching Band uniforms for Spider-Man:  Far From Home.

Sharon spent 4 years in the Marvel Universe in collaboration with Costume Designer Stephanie Maslansky on Netflix’s:  Daredevil S1, Jessica Jones S1, Luke Cage S1 & S2, Iron Fist S1 & S2, and The Defenders.  In 2017, Sharon, Stephanie, and their team won the “Designing Women Award” (NYWIFT and Variety) for their work on Jessica Jones Season 1.  Sharon was a guest on “The Women of Marvel” podcast which took a behind the scenes look at Luke Cage and the creative women who were integral to the show’s success and popularity.  Sharon has also been the Stylist to actor Dennis Haysbert on the long running Allstate campaign, as well as designing a custom suit for Dennis in the book Reflections on Nelson Mandela:  Icon of Peace.

Sharon’s reputation for modern style is found in her attention to the smallest details that come together to help tell a character’s story.  She has a sophisticated aesthetic which incorporates new twists on classic silhouettes.  She integrates raw and gritty or fun and funky since characters come from various backgrounds and experiences…..and people are multifaceted……exactly like real life!

Sharon finds inspiration (and relaxation) in her downtime by traveling to countries such as England, Spain, and Germany.  She resides in Brooklyn, New York.
